Lindsey and John’s romantic wedding at Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia was absolutely perfect. I loved getting to shoot at this historic site and be part of such a sweet and romantic wedding.
Lindsey and John were a stunning couple. John wore his military dress blues, and Lindsey was radiant in her gorgeous, fitted Pronovias gown. The delicate lace of her gown and her lush bouquet of white flowers paired with lots of greenery were such beautiful details to capture.
This couple’s love was so evident during the whole day. I loved how John kept giving Lindsey the secret little smiles and kisses while we shot their bridal portraits. It was precious!

Having the wedding at Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah, GA in front of a historic water fountain was incredibly romantic. Plus, the flowing water from the fountain provided the most peaceful background sound.
One of my favorite parts of the day was seeing the bride walk down an aisle created by a canopy of live oaks dripping spanish moss with the azaleas blooming all around. Sunlight peaking through the trees cast a golden glow on the path down the aisle. It truly felt like a fairytale moment.
After their ceremony, Lindsey and John had the classic saber arch exit in tribute to John’s military service. This emotive send-off created such an exciting vibe to lead to the reception.
The couple then partied the night away at the nearby Savannah Station with friends and family. This historic building has been standing since 1902. I really enjoyed how Lindsey and John incorporated historic Savannah spots in their wedding and chose a minimalist color scheme to accentuate the classic feel of these locations. Just like their wedding at Forsyth Park, their reception venue pulled on the organic feel of lots of greenery, along with plenty of white and gold accents.
The elegance of the setting and the tangible love between John and Lindsey made the whole day feel so special. I loved getting to see how much fun they had dancing and chatting with everyone at their reception, too. It doesn’t get any better than that!
